Nice breeze. This shot is probably one of the most beautiful we've ever published. It looks like a painting by Magritte, and we owe it to the "coup de mer" that swept across part of the Côte d'Azur on November 8. The natural setting is the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. The wave is very high, since it has already crossed the beach, but here its foam merges with that of the clouds, framed by a refined architecture whose barrier it does not cross, splashing everything in a cameo of whites that exudes serenity. Only a painter could normally have invented such a contrast with the fury of the elements, but it was a photographer who captured it (Bruno Bebert/SIPA).
